Why not let the individual states decide?

a lot is wrong with it. Feel free to volunteer yourself as an adopting parent if you're so pro-life.

Oh, there would be no shortage of "adopting parents." Why do you think so many Americans adopt from foreign countries? There's a huge shortage of babies to adopt here.

the closer an unborn comes to term the more it looks like a baby killing.
it was never intended to be a birth control method ever.
but that is how it is used in japan and america.

Founding fathers understood the dangers of small segments of society implementing local laws that would be too "far off" and weaken the country. Hence, there are some Federal issues that cannot be overridden at local levels. Example would be it is not OK to have slavery in a state even of the majority maybe ok with it.

It's a constitutional issue. The states do have some leeway in putting requirements/restrictions on abortion but that's it.

Personally, I don't understand why someone is charged with two murders if he/she kills (inadvertently or intentionally) a pregnant woman but the pregnant woman herself can abort until late in the pregnancy. Doesn't make sense.

Overturning Roe v. Wade would mean personal responsibility. Can't have that, can we?

no, it would just result in a lot of urgent care needed for injuries/infections from illegally performed operations.

You should all realize this whole "pretend it doesnt exist" attitude is not going to solve the problem. Preaching abstinence did not prevent Queen Palin's seed from getting knocked up.

Uh, you do realize that now there are foolproof, no-mess, no-fuss methods of birth control available that people prior to the 1960s couldn't even dream about?

Get a birth control implant, ladies -- not an abortion.

ok, so should it be paid for with your tax dollars for low income sexually active women...or do you not support it then?

Of course it should. It's far less expensive than serial abortions and welfare.
