How is that any different from young dudes who like Obama because he has soft eyes.... Like it or not, a great number of voters vote on the basis of their feelings about the candidate.
When asked about becoming VP, she said she did not even hesitate. This is the same person a few weeks ago who did not know what a VP does (or at least what their responsibilities would be)
