I don't think Biden is ill and it would be a big mistake to change horses now. It would make Obama look very weak and prone to panic when things to south for him. As far as Biden's gaffs, they all make them and there will be more to come as they become battle weary.
Exactly. And then there would be the big question, "Uh, Obama didn't you vet him? Didn't you know he was seriously ill just a few weeks ago?"
Would Hillary agree to pull his acorns out of the fire? Would Bill? One of the reasons they doscounted Hillary was Bill's presidential library fund that is loaded with scandal.
It would really make him look bad, I think. Would anyone believe Biden was ill? I think not.
Are you the only person in America who doesn't recognize the energy that the Palin choice has injected into the McCain campaign? If she were a youngish, attractive male, a governor far removed from Washington, with the same record of taking on the establishment, it would still have been a good choice, still a contrast with Biden. The fact that she is a woman is just the icing on the cake.
So Palin is young, attractive, energetic, maybe even charming or charismatic? Sounds very appealing, her followers should probably beware though, showing enthusiasm for a candidate with the above characteristics might be seem as mindless or dumb or superficial even . I know it's shocking, but apparently that happens when voters become excited about a politician. It's not so bad for you though, us Obama fans have been dealing with it for the past 18 months, you guys only have to tough it out for the next 2 months.

What does her energy and youth have to do with the issues? Nothing, I believe. Which speaks volumes about some members of the electorate, it seems to me, that's they've been "energized" by her.

I'm not arguing her 'energy', I don't follow the McCain camp.
She is as far removed from me politically as can be, woman or not, I wouldn't vote for her if she were a man (or any combination thereof...) The only thing I don't like about Biden is the same thing I don't like about McCain- too many years in Washington. And no, I don't believe the 'taking on his party' line.
