I noticed that McCain's connection to and endorsement by Hagee was swept under the rug quickly by the GOP.

No he wouldn't. Obama was explaining the complex relationship between races in this country. It may have been too complex for you. But wingnuts went crazy over it. It's a good thing that conservatives are such a minority in this country.

typical white people of the era obama was talking about were not too fond of black people. and to the people who think otherwise lived under rocks. you barely seen white people walking around with bi racial children and during that time people make racist remarks and look at you funny
