Do they really think he is going decend from the Heavens and take care of the average Americans and make all their problems go away!!!?
For some reason, only Republicans get how it all works. The Liberals are still wanting us to live in the 60s or something. Get a clue people....we are in 2008 and times are tough!! We need someone who has been there and will continue to fight for us all. Not a Community Organizer who has been running for president LONGER than he has been in the Senate!!
There's a drastic problem with every single sentence in your post.

So, you and your children and grandchildren are fine with paying for the government takeover of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac - which isn't a "socialist" move, somehow? And you applaud the biggest national debt in history, and want more of the same?

As a McCain supporter who says she wants more of the same, you prove that you know your candidate's "REFORM(TM)" (they couldnt exactly steal "CHANGE(TM)") campaign rhetoric is a lie.

"Continue to fight for us all" - That's just so appallingly ignorant I dont know where to begin. "Continue," as in continue the Bush policies? "Fight for us all," as in...I dont have the slightest idea who you might mean by "us all." People making over $250K, I suppose. You can't be speaking in terms of national defense.

Please give links to the sections of Obama's platform that you would call "socialist."

"Heavily tax wealthier Americans" - do you haave the vaguest idea what Obama's plan is for folks earning over $250K per year? Please post his plan to prove that you know whereof you speak. Otherwise, a post such as yours is just another right wing parrot post, squawking out what you've heard without any comprehension of what you're "saying."

Times are tough???? Talk to your leader, bushCo.
McCain said long ago he thought they were out of control....do you listen to the news - probably only MSNBC (aka All Obama, All the Time).
Tell who do you think invests in our economy...the addict living in the government-funded homeless shelter, the teen mom living on food stamps (which buys her baby daddy his designer clothes), or the guy sitting on his couch faking a hurt back drawing disability. They EXPECT the government to take care of them!!! I see this every day where I live!
The people investing in our economy are those is certain income brackets. I have a friend who is an Oncologist with MD Anderson in Houston. I am sure she makes over $250, 000 a year with her doctor husband. Do you think this doctor who works tirelessly to help cancer patients, and does cancer research, should have to pay more in taxes so the slacker at Burger King can have more in his paycheck go spend on weed? This redistribution of income. My doctor friend paid tens of thousands of dollars to go to medical school so she could save lives.....yet you think she should be penalized? She already pays more taxes because she is in a higher income bracket.
Maybe we should let a Community Organizer come in and organize our lives. Or maybe he can bring in a few of his shady friends to help.

The government started these 2 company's and has always remained a close watch to guarantee these company's. If our government allowed these company's to fail our country would go into a depression overnight and we would've be able to get out of it for years and that's just for starters.

And ONCE again, CLINTON de-regulated lending laws to allow low income and bad credit individuals to be able to obtain financing through un-conventional ways. Hence our mortgage meltdown, who would have guess people with bad credit wouldnt pay their bills . Or people with low income trying to buy places they couldnt afford .

President Bush really doesnt have much to do with our economics. Federal Reserve Board has more pull and they still are pretty limited. You need to understand more about taxes. Watch this.

I am so glad you replied. You were incredibly insulting and I think you just proved a point about Liberals!! Thank you!!
I am aware of Obama's plan to tax people with incomes over $250,000. He then plans to redistribute this to lower income people. Why? Does he really think this going to help? It is only a temporary fix.....then he has nothing!! If I am making over $250,000 a year and getting heavily taxed, I am going to keep my money to myself. I am not going to invest it....where does that lead the economy? Oh! You probably don't know the answer to that, do you? Do you even know how our economy works? What happens if no one is out there spending or investing?
Democrats are all for big government....Socialism means the government controls all aspects. You will not have a say about anything!!! Republicans want the people to be in control and less government. For some reason Libs/Dems are too busy protesting and b****ing about everything to realize any of this. You are so naive to think Obama is your savior and he is going to be able to pull the middle class out of this slump.
All you have is your Community Organizer, running for president longer than he has been in the senate, who has put some sort spell over the simple minds of the Democrats. Never mind he has no experience in making government decisions, he has friends who are criminals, he has religious ties to a pastor who shouts the "F word" at his congregation, and he has big celebrity findraisers instead of relating to middle America.
Grow up!!! Take responsibilty for your own family instead of relying on the government!!! Look up Socialism....my dear!

Thank you for explaining!!! I appreciate the help. Too many people are looking to blame Bush. They don't realize Clinton is the one who started much of the mess Bush has been trying to clean up in the midst of dealing with terrorists and huricanes!!

Virtually nobody thinks this. But clearly you've bought into the myth that that's what anyone who supports Obama wants to happen. Do you truly think that most successful people got where they are because they worked hard and saved money and everyone who didn't is a pregnant teenage mom scamming the welfare system or a pot smoking Burger King employee? There are many hard working people across this country who could benefit from some assistance. Do you think that quite possibly the difference between the hard working wealthy people, and those that are struggling, might be low wages, some bad luck and misfortune. Do you think all of these people want to live off or scam the system? Or do you think that they might want just a little assistance from the government? Maybe health coverage when they have a pre-existing condition, or a tax credit to help offset the increasing cost of not only gas but basic groceries?

Additionally, most people with incomes over $250,000 aren't going to stop investing if they have to pay more in taxes.

The myth is that everyone has the same opporunity to become a doctor. That is false. A child whose mental capacity is average probably will never have the ability to become a doctor. Add this to socio economic status during childhood, available educational opportunities and a Republican culture that seems to denigrate "book learning" and revels in sports figures, and you have a recipe for many young adults that will be great carpenters, shop keepers, etc. The worst is that somehow the kid who gets up everyday to go to a dead end job because he knows that he needs some experience to better himself is looked down upon and not given the opportunity to advance.

Funny thing about your reply here is- Many years ago I had serious health problems that made it difficult for me to work. So I needed help to get heating oil so I would not freeze to death. While I was applying for assistance, and it took several visits to there office I meet several different people there. They all tried to school me on how to manipulate the system. I got so tired of these people that I decided to try another source. I went to a church, and they helped me out.

My health improved and I now own a buisness. So the moral of the story is, if you really want to you can improve your life on your own.
Funny thing was, most off those people trying to teach me on how to get over on the system all had pot to smoke. They would ask me if I wanted to get high and learn the tricks.

That's unfortunate. I'm glad the church was able to help you and that you are now doing well.
