so how could anyone trust him with the TOP JOB?

This financial meltdown is the biggest, most serious issue facing America but Obama won't go to Washington as the Senator he is to vote. Proves his ambition is more important than the country and what he was elected to do. This is what I expected all along. Why else with someone arrive at the Senate and then almost immediately begin running for President?

The bill is not even close to getting to the senate floor for a vote. This just shows how much you know about the legislative process.

Oh. He's going to "vote?"

Not bother taking a leadership role, issue a floor statement, or work down and dirty with the crafters of the bill?

I'm sure he'll "sponsor" the bill however. Maybe move to name it the "Obama finance reform bill."

What a lazy ass man.

She is making things up, just like the majority of McCain supporters do on here.

At least he isn't too "lazy" to attend the debate.

Another example of how Obama fails to ever reach across the aisle. Always posturing. Never working. Just talking.

Yeah, sure, this is the kind of change the country doesn't need.

Yeah, he should just barge right into the Banking committee that he isn't even on and say 'I'm here to save the day'. Oh no wait, that's what McCain wants to do.

He isn't on the committee that is overseeing this, so there isn't much for him to do in Washington right now. He is telling everyone what he thinks should happen, since he is one of two men who will be elected president. He's right to be out there talking to the American people about what we plans to do.

If they need his vote on the Senate floor, he'll be there.
