My oh my, now look who's trying to force their beliefs onto someone else. You should steer clear of analogizing gun control with abortion. It reeks of hypocrisy.
The hypocrisy is advocating repealing an actual "right" in the constitution because you are anti-gun vs a "right" devised by SCOTUS that is not found in the constitution. But the latter is OK cause you agree with it.

I don't take the abstinence only approach with my children in relation to guns. Guns are less dangerous than physicians. Let me see if I can find the article.

Hmm. Previously you were posting about how a book was not a kit. Why the switch?

The supreme court has concluded that women have a right to have an abortion. You decide this must be overturned.
The supreme court has concluded that individuals (with some exceptions) have the right to bear (with some exceptions) arms. You hide behind the decision.
I'm not anti-gun, I own several.
HYPOCRISY, AGENDA, YOU CHOOSE YOUR POISON.

Wow...so graphic to make a point!?

Has not happened in six generations with "evil guns" in our homes...guess it's a good argument for education and gun safety.

BTW we only have "real guns" in our homes...and we don't view 'em as toys...rather as tools.

Hope you never have a child that takes a head off while playing with a skill saw

Disclosure: I have not confirmed these statistics

Quote:
Doctors

(A) The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000.

(B) Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are 120,000.

(C) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171.

Statistics courtesy of U.S. Dept of Health and Human Services.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Now think about this:

Guns

(A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000.

(Yes, that's 80 million)

(B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500.

(C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is .000188.

Statistics courtesy of FBI

>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>

So, statistically, doctors are approximately

9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.

Because reading about an illegal activity and performing (making the parts and installing them in the AK47) are two completely different things.

I'm not switching, just pointing out your ignorance on the subject.

I suppose you could expand this to include all gun related injuries and all medical malpractice injuries. It does put things into perspective.

I can't reconcile the analogy between doctor malpractice (usually not malicious) and Gun crime.
