John McCain has made it known that he doesn't want equal pay for women. He did not support the LILLY LEDBETTER FAIR PAY ACT, and the following is a quote of his,
“They need the education and training, particularly since more and more women are heads of their households, as much or more than anybody else,” McCain said. “And it’s hard for them to leave their families when they don’t have somebody to take care of them.
“It’s a vicious cycle that’s affecting women, particularly in a part of the country like this, where mining is the mainstay; traditionally, women have not gone into that line of work, to say the least,”
When will women stop being BLAMED for unequal pay. I am sick of it. If a candidate wants to appeal to women, why not SUPPORT THEM? How can any woman say this is okay? We have had to shoulder this burden long enough.

Someone should ask him if he thinks Sarah should make less than Dick? Someone should ask Sarah if that would be okay (if you could get access).

He thought it would be bad for BUSINESS. Oh yeah, what is so bad about paying two individuals the same wage, for doing the same job. DISGUSTING.

McCain opposes equal pay bill in Senate

Then he puts a little girl on the spot...

Because any man who calls his wife the "C" word and laughs at rape jokes and enjoys hearing his political opponent called a B

has NO respect for women as humans.

You forgot to ask Obama why he doesn't pay his females staffers as much as the male staffers.

BTW, McCain does.

You already brought this up a week or 2 ago...and the answer was and still is: they don't perform the exact same jobs...

Why would that be? Campaigns are basically structured the same way - why would Obama's female staffers be any different than Mac's.

Obama cheated his women employees by paying them less than their male counterparts - period. He speaks out of both sides of his mouth.

Really? You know for a fact that the women on Obama's team and the women on McCain's team are working the exact same jobs?

We are discussing the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act here. If you are going to espouse other topics, please provide a source... (a legitimate source)
