She was probably trying to figure out how she was going to respond to that nonsense. Cafferty nailed it. That answer was pathetic. If she doesn't know this stuff already, she's not going to learn it in a couple weeks.

ouch, but i agree. i realize a lot is going on for her. but she should know the fundamentals.

unfortunately i don't think obama is more qualified than her.

They had to keep putting the camera on Couric so that we couldn't see Palin looking frantically in her notes for some kind of divine inspiration. I thought she was the "experienced" candidate?

Sort of like Obama without his pre-written speech. Or do you ever bother to listen to him when has to answer a question he did know the answer to before he was asked the question.

And I liked the part where Katie Couric thinks the taxpayer should bail out thoses so dumb they didn't even know how to buy a home!
She's even more to the left than Obama is.
