There are some embarrassingly uneducated people posting here.

If this isn't too hard for you to read try perusing at your leisure... I know it's not exactly humans, but perhaps you'd relate a little better to this example? It's really quite fascinating.

Depends on how much they make, and whether they live in Louisiana.

Eugenics lives! Lousiana lawmaker wants to sterilize the poor - Progressive Revival
"LaBruzzo said he opposes abortion and paying people to have abortions. He described a sterilization program as providing poor people with better opportunities to avoid welfare, because they would have fewer children to feed and clothe.

He said his program would be voluntary. It could involve tubal ligation, encouraging other forms of birth control or, to avoid charges of gender discrimination, vasectomies for men.

It also could include tax incentives for college-educated, higher-income people to have more children, he said."
(sorry to go o/t, I just love this story)

i hope the democrats here aren't trying to play the card that the smart ones will be voting for barack. the last i heard my vote counts just as much as, say, mr. wizard. i am not sufficiently overwhelmed at their intellect that i would change my vote.

Do your research and vote for who has actually accomplished something for the country.

These scientists are stupid about politics. A president will not give them all that they want. It takes the president and congress to approve any funding.

Their endorsements are useless. They should have been lobbying instead.

LOBBYING= Trying to persuade government officials to support the goals of a special- interest group.
but if we did that, nobody would vote obama...maybe thats why he is dubbed nobama

im for it. hell, im for forced if someone is on welfare while having children. possibly even forced abortion too. i don't care what color you are. if you cant balance a check book or survive on your own, you think its the child's best interest to sit at home with you on welfare? if that's too much, forced adoption.

i believe having children is a privileged, not a right. just like driving a vehicle, if you cant do it responsibly you shouldn't be allowed to do it at all.

At least you're honest. That's better than most of those who believe as you do.

I bet they know your face down at the Humane Society, huh?
