Keep in mind that with the record number of GA blacks voting this election (30% of the population) and with Bob Barr (Georgia's own) on the ballot, this state could actually be a photo finish on election day.

I agree and think Barr will take enough votes from Mccain that he could lose GA .
I have seen lots of Barr stickers in N.Florida .
Barr is Mccains nightmare . While Nagin has taken much less from Obama

Some credible polls have shown Barr getting about 7 to 8 percent of the vote in Georgia. If blacks comprise 22% of GA voters and whites 78% ( I know this is too high for whites, but I'm simplifying this) and Obama wins nearly all of the black vote (which he will) and siphons off 35% of the white vote, he will have 49.3% of the total vote in GA. Lets assume Barr has 5% of the vote (which is a conservative estimate). Then McCain would clearly lose with at most 45.7% of the vote. I think this is a reasonable scenario and Georgia CANNOT be considered a given for McCain.
Did you read any of what I wrote above? It doesn't matter, Georgia will be the November Surprise.
Well if that's the case...so will Texas.
