No. Biden specifically said he wouldn't oppose them being civil unions nor their recognition and their religious institutions' recognition of them as a marriage (if I'm paraphrasing that correctly). He said he doesn't support them.
Palin just gave it a "no" so I don't know whether she means entirely...including civil unions. No idea.

Well, first he said, he yes, absolutely supported Gay marriages but after she said that people if they chose to have a gay relationship should not be denied civil rights EXCEPT actual marriage, then he back tracked and said he too disagreed with marriage.
That was the fastest back tracking I have EVER seen! LOL!
