Obama Family's Thanksgiving Food Drive Visit (SLIDESHOW, VIDEO)

Between the photos and the video this really moved me. I hear collective groans from the right leaning posters, but I've never been so excited about a president or president-elect, or impressed, or so inspired. He is completely hands-on unlike shrub, a kind soul, and I think amazing things are to come. What a thrill it must have been for the people who came to the food bank to meet them.

All it means is he is going to be another photo op president like Bill Clinton carrying his big Bible to church every Sunday. I'm not "moved" at all.

The Obama family's activities in the courtyard quickly drew the attention of schoolchildren whose windows overlooked the courtyard. They put up a sign against the glass that read: "We love our prez" and screamed when the president-elect waved to them.

Obama then turned to his wife and suggested they go visit the kids. Secret Service agents, looking surprised, disappeared inside the building to accommodate his request.

Minutes later, hundreds of children were brought down to the school auditorium, and Obama loped onstage as they screamed and cheered.
...
The president-elect then took questions from the children...."
What a craven opportunist.

He doesn't need any photo ops. He already won the election.

I worked a soup kitchen today but you don't hear me saying that I did it (before Obama did) and have the media there.

You do because it's right and keep it quiet, not because it will make good PR.

You just said it.

It doesn't matter if Obama did it or not, you still said it.

Also, the man can barely go to the bathroom without the media there, so he wouldn't have been able to.

As my post said, I only said it after Obama did and if he didn't I never would have.
