Well put. While I generally consider myself more of a lefty and on a national level tend to vote Democratic, I too have read some conservative economic and political thought that has been well articulated and compelling. Sadly, I'm seeing none of that in the current Republican party (I might respect them a bit more if I did). And yes, there are a lot of Democrats I don't really like either (my town is full of them).
