Just show me where to sign so I too can jump on the welfare/distribution of wealth gravy train....anyone who would SIGN something without reading it deserves whatever issues that kind of stupid behavior brings.
I was told at a meeting recently that many of the absentee ballots for the primaries that were sent to our overseas servicepeople were Republican- regardless of how those people registered as voters.
Apparently, dirty republican tricks with regard to the military are becoming more and more common.
And it is turning the service people off of the party.

That's a pretty broad brush stroke you have. For the record I am a registered independent.
That being said and speaking of stupid behavior, the same can be said about far too many Americans of all races, and political affiliations who signed mortgage documents that they didn't read for houses that they knew they couldn't afford. To imply that only democrats are dumb or on the welfare gravy train in this country is pretty lame at best.
There's plenty of stupid running rampant on both sides of the political aisle. In case you need another observation of this truth, how about the 8 years of stupid we've had to endure because republicans thought it was a great idea to elect an idiot they wanted to have a beer with..

PPPPLLLLLEEEEZZZZZ... being retired AF I KNOW that the majority of the military vote Republican...even the Army Times ran a poll, and with the sole exception of "Africian Americans" it was an 80-20 average McCain over Obama. The blacks are 80-20 Obama...like anyone is surprised by that.
What WOULD be interesting is if both candidates were black or both were white, how would that count be......

Speaking of stupid behavior, the same can be said about far too many Americans of all races, and political affiliations who signed mortgage documents that they didn't read for houses that they knew they couldn't afford. To imply that only democrats are dumb in this country is pretty lame at best.

Could not agree with you more about those that got themselves into financial troubles should be help responsible for paying their debts...but instead, those of us that HAVE been financially responsible (paying our bills on time, not living beyond our means, educating ourselves to the position of having decent paying jobs) are now bailing out those that have not...and Obama feels it is FAIR to "spread the wealth". Why should I (or you) be held financially responsible for those that, as you correctly put it, did not bother to read documents for "houses that they KNEW the couldn't afford"? Were those same people going to share the wealth with Joe Public when those houses appreciated 100% in 5 years and they cashed out??? It is like someone going to the Casino and losing and whining about all their money being gone....

Those who live above and beyond their means, including but not limited to those who purchased houses they couldn't afford, and those who charge every new and expensive gadget that comes out, financed autos they couldn't afford and a slew of other things on credit while knowing they shouldn't have, left those of us who pay our bills on time, live within our means and use credit responsibly stuck paying for their uncontrolled greed and idiocy.
