Palin hometown a window into her environmentalism

The Associated Press: Palin hometown a window into her environmentalism

By MATT APUZZO – 1 day ago
WASILLA, Alaska (AP) — Long before John McCain made Gov. Sarah Palin his running mate and before her views on global warming became a campaign issue, Palin's environmental priorities were crystallized in a city where she was mayor and where development long has trumped conservation.

I know threads like this never even get one post. Unless it is about Obama and something really stupid, or unless it has the words socialism, terrorist, or Palin in the title nobody reads it.

This is how Palin wants to turn Alaska into everywhereville.

I know City-data.com people probably don't see a problem with this anyways, since this is the forum of environment hating Suburbinites who love Sarah Palin.

I figure Palin would always sell her soul to the highest bidder. She seems to have sold out Alaska. Maybe Wasilla will become Houston north. She is just another short sighted Republican narcissist.

Not true, I'm an environmentalist, I read your post. And I'm not surprised by it.

I was no fan of Obama's at the onset of this election cycle, still am not. But when McCain picked her as VP, that changed the whole game for me. I still support a third party candidate (and live in solidly blue state). However, giving that 3rd party candidates have absolutely NO chance in the current election, if I lived in a swing state, I would vote for Obama to keep this total nut as far away from the WH as possible.

This article is USELESS because the author Mark Apuzzo is an OBAMA supporter.

I'm not surprised. Everything I've read about Palin supports my opinion that she is a crooked, small town politician looking for a bigger $$ pot to get her hands on.

I am sorry. I am lazy.

Just click on the link. You will see the article talk about how she just lets big box stores destroy nature for her quest to turn a town into everywhereville.

This is the biggest issue with mine on a local level. URBAN SPRAWL. I FREAKIN HATE IT.

Come on dude. This article is about how she ran Wasilla. There is nothing in there that isn't known by just looking at the town. I saw photo threads, and other articles about it.

I can understand defending the person you are voting for. But pretending to be blind doesn't help.
