Well, the first sentence of the article dismisses ACORN's antics, even though they've been going on for years and there have been convictions. So, I dismiss Rolling Stone's story. Easy.

But why is this a liberal/conservative issue? You don't care about ensuring the democratic process? Do you know how programming works and how easy it would be to slip in some code that would alter votes (for either Republicans or Democrats), especially when that code is closed? There is no oversight of the people writing the code.

The link is a teaser for the article in the upcoming issue of Rolling Stone, which I dont feel like buying. But you can hear Robert Kennedy Jr. on Ring of Fire radio podcasts and Greg Palast is all over the internet. And I do hope people in remote and possible target areas will be there at the polls, and will remind vulnerable people in their areas to call and be sure they're on the rolls, to bring their registration cards and some ID even if it's not required - and bring cameras!
