Or at least bring in more tax revenue from companies that have already gone overseas.

Its been discussed somewhat already (though largely ignored by those who defend large corporations), but there's a ton of evidence that large corporations pay little or no taxes.

Study says most corporations pay no U.S. income taxes | U.S. | Reuters
You don't have to be a corporation to make millions....

The common sense to me, is Obama it taxing a lot of companies that DO make millions and create a lot of jobs... That in turn will lay people off and move companies over seas... There are probably thousands of construction companies that make over a million a year. Obamas tax plan cause these companies to lay people off because they will be taxed up the ass. Granted it's slow for them right now anyways, it will just get worse.

Taxes were cut by Bush. The economy has suffered. Where is your proof that tax cuts cause a loss of jobs??? This myth has been debunked given how the Bush tax cuts did nothing to help create jobs. Total hogwash!

There's more than taxes behind the current problems. Raising taxes has been proven to harm the economy.

Do you think we should do away with all fed, state and local taxes for a flat tax rate of 15-21%?

May be if W hadn't signed the Tax-break policy for companies, fewer companies would have keep work in the US. And, we wouldn't be sitting on this mess.
