One of the flat out dumbest questions asked outside of Hannity and Colmes.

She gives me hope that there are still true journalists out there. Why didn't he just answer the question?

Because it's a stupid question. I wouldn't lower myself to the intellectual level of a reporter who's not even smart enough to ask questions that aren't ideologically loaded.

"West received 10,000 e-mails about the Biden interview -- she estimated they were 9-to-1 positive."

I think she's telling the truth when she said she asked the questions her audience wanted asked - in the McCain interview too. And wow, was she hostile!

Biden was great - explained in detail and was polite.

Ha! How about the inane questions they've asked Palin?

What's stupid about that question? His proposed policies are based on Marxist principles. It is a totally fair question.

Polite? Talk about deer in the headlights! He barely answered, and acted as if he is "above" answering a perfectly fair question for a candidate that is, as you Dems like to say of Palin, "a heartbeat away from the Presidency".

It's a legitimate question if one is coming from the hard right wing. Otherwise, it has not a thing to do with reality. That's why Biden laughed and didn't want to go any further. The question delegitimzed the questioner. It's like Barbara Walters asking Henry Kissinger, "Why haven't you given all your money to the poor yet?"

Obama is the most laissez faire Democrat to run for president in several generations, if not ever. The "journalist" in question here is seriously ill informed, uneducated and silly. Hence my use of the term "dingbat." There's no reason why Joe Biden should have stooped to her level and spent a great amount of time on the question.

Not quite. With all the evidence mounting on Obama and his views (that he won't honestly disclose), there is damn good reason to ask this question. Many people would like an answer to that question. The liberal press would be bursting a blood vessel if McCain or Palin refused to answer a question. This is further proof about the one-sidedness of the left. "Delegitimized the questioner", you're kidding right?
