OK all you mixologists out there--I've been asked to serve an "Obama cocktail" at the party I'm going to Tuesday night. I've got three ways to go--which one sounds good to you?
1. To represent Hawaiian upbringing, the first ingredient is Kahlua. Godiva white chocolate liqueur represents his mixed heritage. Add Absolut Mandarin as a nod to his time in Indonesia, and a dash of whiskey because presidents always seem to drink whiskey.
2. To celebrate the "blue" party, something made with blue Curacao.
3. Or, an alcoholic smoothie drink that's an alphabetical salute: A small scoop of Orange Sherbert blended with a Banana, Apple, Milk, and Amaretto.

1 part obama koolaid, 1 part biden thyme, 1 part gin, 3 parts chlorine bleach.
LOL three cheers for arctichomesteader! First of all, kudos to you for a funny reply. Secondly... guess it's time to fess up to something. I had a little side bet going here that I could start a thread and get someone to say "kool aid" before the 5th post. Woo hoo, I just won $2!
And... even though this started as a joke thread, those drinks do sound pretty tasty. I might just have to try that alphabetical one.
