Holy Cow!! Can't believe CNN allows D.L. Hughley to have a ghetto comedy show and calls it "D.L. Hughley Breaks the News".
He says that the only way Obama can lose is to become overconfident. His racist guest says, "Call your co-workers, your distant cousins......"
Can't believe CNN has given a slot to this crap.
Please, don't remind us! I already wrote them a harsh letter on the show. You should see the countless threads and websites where the African Commnunity is OUTRAGED and when I say outraged, I believe that I am understating the rage and insensivity of this show, on CNN of all stations
It's a political comedy show that airs on Saturday night if I'm not mistaken..It's not like they bumped that oh so entertaining Larry King or anything..Fox has it's comedy shows on primetime 5 days a week.
I was channel-surfing last night and on impulse decided to check the show out (I do watch Anderson Cooper and occasionally Larry King depending on who he happens to have on as a guest). Turned it off after the first couple of minutes because I knew I couldn't take more than that of such lame misguided attempts at being clever.
Now if it were Chris Rock doing a weekly retrospective on the news... I'm sure THAT program would be funny!
On the other hand, I've watched the last couple episodes of Not Just Another Cable News Show (I hadn't checked it out until recently) and was either chuckling or laughing out loud all the way through it. THAT was funny. IMHO Hughley's show is not.

I enjoyed the show, but think once the election is over people are going to be burnt out on politics and tune out. He's a funny guy.
