This is the way I feel also. I always felt "anyone BUT Bush", or "no one can be as bad as Bush" for the outcome of this, even before it was clear who would be the candidate on either side.

But then along came Palin and so much for "anyone BUT Bush", or "no one can be as bad as Bush"
