We tried to go vote early. Went after I had gotten done at the hospital for some tests and there was no parking and the line was LONG! Never made it by any other early voting day. Heard last night on the news that in our county about 62% of the expected voters had already voted early. We went this morning around 9:45 after we had already gotten kids to school and ortho appt's. Pulled right in w/ no problem parking. Got out walked in and waited behind one person that was checking in in our alphabetical grouping. Got our ballots, voted, put them in the machine and left. Probably there all of 5 minutes. WHEW!
I joked with the guy standing by the ballot counting machine that I was disappointed that I could not leave any "hanging chads".
No wait for me, I went on the first day absentee voting started, I think that was like 3 weeks ago maybe? But yesterday, there was an insane line for absentee voting. A local hot dog vendor had the right idea, he set up shop right on the corner, he was doing some good business!
Oh yes. My voting location was full of attractive young girls, and I was the only younger guy in sight! I talked to this one girl my age for the half hour I waited, but she was playing hard to get and being very dodgy (we did go to lunch after though!).

Was this before or after she maced you?
Just kidding, of course.
