Default Congratulations President Elect Obama!!

Not every Texan voted for the loser. Many millions of voters here voted for the next President because they believed like I, that Barack Obama was the best man for the job. So I wouldn't characterize all Texans as being right-wing, conservative types. Just those that voted for the loser. Along those lines President Elect Obama did in fact carry Bexar County.

Texas has done every well since it moved from blue tpo red. Look at the blue states and their economies and their budget problems. The president can't fix their problem except to increase welfare porgrams if he can get it thur congress.

Exactly. Odd that people from other, ahem, blue states barrel-butt here because of our good economy and then whine about the conservatism that allows us to have a good economy!

Well maybe you can take comfort in the fact that Obama won the counties with the big cities in the state with the lone exception of Tarrant (Ft Worth). Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and - especially - El Paso and Austin all went blue

I knew there was an excellent reason why I like Fort Worth.
