It was very quiet but my neighborhood is full of seniors so I didn't expect much anyway. I must say though, I am so proud of my fellow Chicagoans for celebrating with dignity. I watched the rally on tv and to see all of the people (various races, backgrounds, etc) in Grant Park cheering, smiling, and singing did my heart good.

We set off fireworks about about 9:45 (we respect our noise violation law in our town that says quiet by 10) and were cracking champagne, laughing and having a great time Our neighborhood is predominantly McCain supporters so we were the only ones celebrating Twas a good night.
