I called it a black widow dress because it looks like a black widow dress, and if you look a few pages back to the comments I posted from an article about the dress, many OBAMA supporters also thought it looked like a black widow dress and had the same reaction I did. That's my reason for posting it, period. There's no other "reason" like you are trying to read into it. I am seriously wondering if you are okay.

well it was both a day of mourning (grandmother) and a day of celebration (election.) so the color scheme encompassed both. I wasn't crazy about the design though, personally.

How much more clear can I be? The dress is black and red and the red is in the same pattern as the red on a black widow spider. Period. No, not because Michelle is wearing it. No, not because I wish she were a widow. No, not because I think black dresses are for widows. Yes, because the dress reminds me (and many others, including Obama supporters) of a black widow spider. I didn't vote for Obama but I certainly don't want anything to happen to him, either. I have worried for 8 years that someone would make an attempt on Bush's life. Haha, I see it now. Luzianne actually said the dress looks like the spider. Luzianne, do you know what a spider looks like? How it is shaped, formed, etc.?
