If it is the same one I saw on TV yesterday, it is not accurate. Our county that went 69% for McCain was colored blue.

Nice presentation of IMO spurious data.

The 2nd set of datapoints in 2008 are based on when even many GOP'pers couldnt wait for Bush to just GTFO.

There certainly is some real shift. Northern VA, ALL of NC and FL are being infested with NE liberals ironically fleeing the high tax heavens of NY NJ MA.

That's interesting, but I want to see the county map that shows which counties actually went for McCain or Obama, like in 2004.

Those Im pretty sure are available now state by state on CNN, etc.

Haha, what? This is not an opinion being forced by the NYT. They are merely presenting information.

The map is not who won the county, but compares 2004 to 2008 and shows gains/losses by party. In your case, the map indicates that Bush got more than 69% in 2004.
