Obama earned what he deserved. McCain tried to portray change too, you probably couldn't keep up with their rhetoric much less avoid from buying into their lies and pandering. May be, that was quite "Mavericky"... the "reformers" forgot that the "change" they were trying to spell to the simpletons who would buy it, simply didn't work with majority of the voters... the kind of politics they played, easily dates back to Joe McCarthy days... that was a change alright.
Maybe you should take notice of your own quotes . You fall for obvious lies and deceptions yet, you tell me that I "probably couldn't keep up" that's ironic. I'm sure McCain would have had his faults as he is only human however, Obama took full advantage of his ability to be slick and sly to take advantage of you and the rest of the people who voted for him. So, in all actuality, the majority of the voters did fall for it thus, the reason Obama was elected.

I just don't take note of quotes, I actually comprehend and follow them. I see that lacking in neocons, in people lacking everything but a political agenda.

Hey, don't blame me for figuring it all out sooner.

Secondly, he's not of the white race....he definitely had an edge with that one. Thirdly, again, he's definitely a better ass kisser than McCain....I have to give it to him; he could sell **** to a farmer .

It's funny to hear all of the Palin bashing.....she's stupid, she's not experienced enough, she's too human.....wow...well, I found her humanness to be the refreshing and promising change we need in Washington. How experienced is Obama again?? Still, to this day, haven't heard anything convincing on that one. Not anything positive anyway.

McCain and Palin were not your typical candidates.....they didn't prey on Americans by sweet talking and promising their way to the top.
Her "humaness"? Care to elaborate on that? I thought Obama was "human" too!

3 reasons
1. He's not black
2. He's a republican
3. He's old

Thank You! I never thought anybody would call me hilarious, something I wish more people, especially who really know me, would. And they don't.

That should have earned you a rep from me. Unfortunately, this is a forum to discuss not you and I, which you started with and ended at. So, may be next time?

Great list OP.

I would add that McCain is essentially lazy.

He campaigned on a 40 hr week most of the time going back to Arizona almost every weekend. It wasn't something reported about much, but for the final couple of months when you turn on the weekend news you would see footage of the days Obama rally contrasted with a reported on a dirt road outside McCains ranch.

History is not to be discussed or examined if we don't like it. Is the American Revolution is more a part of our history to be studied the the War in the Colonies is to the British as a topic in school?

Perfect example. Also a reflection of republican fanatics attacking black reporters after that interview. That's the party problem reduced to loud mouthed bullies.

Let us see Palin face the wrath of Ann Coulter. Something about 'Wasilla trailer trash plundering neman marcus across the land'??? Did I hear that right??? DOH!

Another example of Obama's version of change and McCains stay the course mavericky change () is the flood in Ohio last spring. Obama jumped out there with sandbags, rolled up his sleeves, elbow to elbow with folks. Realizing a lost photo opportunity for marketing brand x republicanism, campaign mgr 2+ hrs later (through the magic of ventriliquism) had McCain & wifey issue passive statements of sympathy to those who were about to lose their homes.

When has sympathy paid anyones rent? I mean... who would you rather have for a neighbor? Just saying.
