I think, at worst, Obama will be an average president. He certainly has traits of an above average or even good president but it's too early to tell. I would have taken an average president over the last eight years. I think that Bush will be viewed in a better light many years from now. I agree with Obama, he's a good guy who tried to do what he thought was right most of the time. In the end, he made some miscalculations but not all is bad.

He will be better than Bush no matter what. It is in my opinion that NO ONE can be worse than him.

Ya really have to wonder about stuff like this. Based on what, do they believe this? His looks?

He has never done anything significant. Some of his ideas are simply ridiculous, and he threatens the economy with higher taxes at a time when what we need most is LOWER taxes.

He just doesn't seem to have a clue about anything.

You haven't been alive that long... there are plenty of presidents worse than him... albeit he is bad (perhaps in the top five), but there are worse... I wouldn't going around presuming he is the worse when you have seen that many presidents in the first place)...

What are those "traits" that you think will make him an above average president?

At least you're being honest about Bush. He wasn't really a "bad" president (but he spent way too much, with the help of a willing Congress — Democrats always love to spend).

Both Clinton and Jimmy Carter were worse.
