I think it interesting to see how politicians work...

They state something that is popular but word it in such a way as to always have a way out.

Sad thing is so many do not see Obama as being just another politician.

Beyond the spin. Obama has now restored the United States interrogation techniques to those consistent with the Geneva Accords. The military will certainly approve.

With exceptions possible depending upon the information the prisoner may have....

and that a committee be created to " study and evaluate whether the interrogation practices and techniques in Army Field Manual 2 22.3, when employed by departments or agencies outside the military, provide an appropriate means of acquiring the intelligence necessary to protect the Nation, and, if warranted, to recommend any additional or different guidance for other departments or agencies."

Could you perhaps post some alternative techniques that currently are not allowed that are not considered torture?

Thanks.

He is though. You can not gain the most coveted political seat in the world by doing anything other than playing ball. I hope Obama does some real good for this country. But in the end, he is just another politician.

I think most will eventually wake up and realize he is what he is, another politician making his mark.

I hope for the day when real reform comes to DC but unless people stop being sheep it won't happen.
