This was expected. No big deal. Especially Virginia.
You know it sure would be nice if the losing side could see the light or at least admit defeat gracefully...There is a lot more to this than VA and NJ only. VA went the way it was expected, but not all 3 top seats, hasn't happened in decades if ever: NJ, is strongly democrat, went republican and 6 or the 7 posts up in Pa went republican.

The point here is, the republican party isn't dead at all and I am not one to glout, but I do have to get a good feeling when I know the true libs (I am not talking all democrats) have to eat their words.

All this does is to show the ACORN administration that they need to beef up their absentee ballot efforts next year.

Remember, there are 57 states to be concerned with and these two don't do a lot to rid the country of the looters in D.C

[quote=boiseguy;11473215]no, people didn't vote for mcCain because his running mate was an ignorant ill-informed uneducated cow.

had mccain chosen a decent running mate the election might have been closer. QUOTE]

Yeah, I don't think so. I'm pretty much thinking:

1. We never liked McCain. His own mother told us to hold our nose and vote for him.

2. George Bush

Which is why Democrats will keep winning. The average Democrat is a lot closer to right of center than the average Republican.

Yes, Republicans became too liberal. The TEA parties will show them they better come back to center or they will be out as well.

I wish the United states made it manditory to vote, so nobody winning is the result of laziness to go vote. Course that would mean democrats would win every election and the republicans know it. Thats how you can not be a majority in america and still win elections...
Countries like Australia have manditory voting.. we should too.. it should be a civil duty like jury duty.. you don't have to vote for one or the other, but you do have to cast a ballot even if you leave it blank. That would be the AMERICAN way to do things.. Democrats got big wins with young voter turn outs.. and when the young vote stays home and is lazy.. the wing nuts turn out the vote... Wingnut crazies are a lot of things.. but due to their militant nature.. they turn out to vote.
It's sad that these are the people that determine elections sometimes due to the majority's apathy...

It's amazing how blind left wingers are. I too wish we had mandatory voting. In a recent Gallop Poll liberals are a small minority.

Gallup: We're 40% conservative, 36% moderate, 20% liberal

Leftwinger crazies are a lot of things.. but due to their militant nature.. they are never to be trusted when it comes to voting. They will cast votes for the dead, pets and multiple votes. I wouldn't be surprised id any election they have won was won by fraud.

That may be true, but it obviously doesn't translate directly into winning elections for Republicans. With 40% of the country calling themselves conservatives, I would ask: Why aren't Republicans doing better? How did they allow Democrats to take over a majority of governorships, the White House, and both Houses of Congress?

A lot of people I know that are conservative believe everyone in our government is just a bunch of crooks so the don't even bother to vote. They have all become very interested in politics now that we have the most open liar and socialist in the white house who is real cozy with our enemies. They are now realizing they better vote. Never before have we had a president that instead of praising the country that he is supposed to represent, he goes on foreign soil a pisses on America. That kind of gets people motivated.

I think what is happening to liberal news is a small picture of what this country thinks of hussein obama and liberals. Drudge had the stats for election night aand CNN is dying as FOX NEWS is growing greatly.

CNN comes in a shocking 4th on election night...
PRIMETIME (8-11 PM/ET)
FOXNEWS: 4,043,000 viewers (1,130,000 in A25-54)
MSNBC: 974,000 viewers(308,000 in A25-54)
HEADLINE NEWS: 842,000 viewers(341,000 in A25-54)
CNN: 826,000 viewers (227,000 in A25-54)...

I'm glad you like FOX so much. Their polls always show Obama's approval ratings higher than his disapproval ratings.
