I don't know about the rest of you but there is Star Wars everything now. You can't go anywhere without seeing something Star Wars. When I saw the original movie in 1977 (3 times) I enjoyed it immensely and there wasn't a lot of merchandise but now OMG its everywhere. What do you think?

Thumbs down *

They have totally ruined it!!!!

GEORGE LUCAS is a moron who took a piece of gold AND MADE IT GARBAGE!!!!!!

I cant believe ANY OF THE ORIGINAL CAST wanted anything to do with making it what it became...... ITS TRULY VERY SAD..... It shows all of them were compromised!!

The original 3 movies ARE THE BEST 3 PART MOVIE EVER!!!!!

All I know is that considering the hype, this edition had better be way good!

The toys, action figures etc are priced at a level that only the guys on Big Bang Theory could afford.

I think the new film will be better than the last three, since Lucas has been kept from ruining his own creation. Ford & the rest will likely have some snappy dialogue which was missing from the prequel abominations.
Any successful franchise is going to be hyped and merchandised to death, that's the nature of the industry. Still, it's loads of fun to play a video game as Darth Vader or the rebels, and you can watch your kids playing with the same Star Wars toys you had as a kid.

But he already ruined it BEFORE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!

Every ORIGINAL movie is changed so the whole series is corrupt and worthless in my opinion......

I think they so much ran out of concept that all of their episodes practically end up in same - guy flies down a tube/hole and drops a bomb/rocket.
