That lady from Glee, is sooo hilarious. Can't remember her name. (She was in some Wii commercials I think, and also in 40 year old virgin)

My favorite stand-up comedian is Denis Leary! He has been doing movies and TV (Rescue Me) for several years but, I'm hoping he'll come back to comedy...no one can make me laugh like he does.

I don't follow comedians that much so I am not familiar most of them.
I will say I love

Eddie Izzard
Robin Williams, mostly for his energy. I'm not sure about his sort of canned performance type jokes, but no one just riffs and ad libs constantly non stop as funny as he does. I think spending time with him would probably kill most people.
Doug Stanhope - talk about pushing the envelope. He's pretty dark. The funny is just in someone actually saying all that out loud on stage - I like it.

I really like George Carlin, Denis Leary and Seinfeld. I also like to see 'serious' actors doing a comedic turn..Jon Hamm on SNL was classic!

From further back I love Victor Borge, who was also a classically trained pianist. Tom Lehrer is in a similar vein..this was era when they didn't have to say f**k this and f**k that every second word.

I like how comedians joke about husband/wife, male/female thinking, pets in family and kids w/ parents. Bill Engvall cracks me up. Also like Ron White, and many others.

According to Wikipedia he's still working sporadically. Not much exciting.
