Maybe we just don't care for urban sprawl much as well as understand the value of farmland. Kind of a shame what happened to places like San Jose's Blossom Hill Road.

I don't care what you value, that's your business. Note, I didn't state what I prefer, value or care about. Totally irrelevant. I am just advising the OP to do their due diligence.

And while you might be informed, I bet a lot of people aren't. I asked my friend who LIVES IN VENETA how he felt about measure 47 and the laws to retract it (i forget the measure#) and he looked at me with a blank stare. I go up there often and hang out..I like to talk to people and make friends.

From what I've seen...its a handful of people making the decisions from their ivory tower and deciding what's best for everyone else. And "everyone else" is asleep at the wheel. National issue, I suppose. Which is why I am trying to suggest some due diligence, isn't that better for everyone

My husband and I just got back from a week of traveling ALL over Oregon to see where we want to retire next year.. we finally agree that Cottage grove fits all our needs.. love the 2 nearby lakes, river and it feels like your in a little quaint valley surrounded by trees and mountains.. yet you can also get that more rual feeling without feeling so far away from everything.. so check it out ♥ and its only about a 25 mile drive to Springfield
