Its completly nosense, there isnt the big difference between northern, central italians and southern italians. Italy as a whole is comparable to spain, portugal and greece. Northern italians can look like southern french at most.
Germans (majority) have lighter skin type than french, more like dutch and scandinavians.
french overall are darker than most slavs, germans and central europeans.
I guess somebody else had to tell you who the palest people on the earth are! Irish= 100% Celtic!
They are definitely on average, skin type I is mostly associated to people with red hair, freckles, or those who are carriers of the red hair gene or those of Celtic ancestry. As in the picture I've posted above already, and the pictures of Irish and British women below. If you have your 'anti-British/Irish' emotions, that your choice. I don't care, I have facts and evidence. There are others who posted scientific charts when it comes to skin tones, like Cloxias.

Are you seriously suggesting that everybody in North West Europe have the same skin type!!!!!
red hair isn't nesscesrily synonomous with pale skin , no one in my family has red hair, we all have brown and we all have incredibly pale skin , I couldn't get a sun tan if my life depended on it and I lived outside for a week in 30 degree heat
