I've studied printed books and I had access at informational resources you never will have. Also I travelled extensivelly through most of Greece's regions.
Say who, you? And I repeat that that is nationalist website, where is your "study".
Read my first comments on thread, where I praised Greek culture. Nevertheless, is not the merit of the Greeks for what they have done but their geographical and political position, the natural configuration of Greece with so much coastline etc. Same reason for which millenia before the ancient Greek civilisation, first European civilisations flourished in what is today Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, Ukraine - the Neolithic cultures of Vinča, Cucuteni and others that discovered the writting and metallurgy, built world's first great cities etc (read about them on Wikipedia).
So is not Greeks fault for their economical situation but of some occult dudes. That says alot about the validity of your other assertions.
I don't believe a thing you say due to your past propagandists ideals and statements in other threads. The study and data are there but you fail to see them. I don't think anyone quotes sources in what is a belief every time as they go by what they know and they feel is correct. Your past statements on FYROM and those links and maps were just laughable. I have the right to say anything I feel is my belief and those are not insults. You are the one that has made direct insults at Greeks.
You make false assumptions and conclusions in just about everything I have stated to fit your own forwarding lies and nationalistic beliefs and agenda no matter how many books you claim to have read. For example, your last statement of the above quote its your very own conclusion and distorts and errors what I have said.
You twist things around, so be it from such a person of high knowledge you claim to be.
This thread is not only geographically related but culturally and historically also as numerous others have posted. Guess you like to state otherwise also. Any idiot can figure out that Greece is in SE Europe but that is not the only point discussed. I guess we are done.

Thats solely based on geography.. Because there is no way a country like lithuania has more in common with scandinavia than they do with Belarus or Russia.
Also the UK is heavily latin/romanic influenced, there is no way the UK is more "northern european" than a country like the Netherlands, or even large parts of germany.
The northern european definitions change according to the organization who defines them, The only countries that are always considered northern europe by all definitions are the members of the nordic council.
Northern europe = nordic council members.
Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland.
Greece is geographically located in the southern balkans (south-east european by definition), but lingo/cultural/ethnically wise is not a slavic balkanian country hence Its considerated as something else. Greece is as eastern european as southern Italy could be, despite being located on southern balkans.
Culturally , politically, military , economically is a Western world country
but regarding the religious issue the Byzantine empire followed the eastern orthodox (Great Schism) and later they transmitted this to the Slavs. (East europe - no other connection).
Also the UK is heavily latin/romanic influenced, there is no way the UK is more "northern european" than a country like the Netherlands, or even large parts of germany.
The UK is way more northern European than Germany as a whole. The UK is certainly not "heavily latin/romanic" influenced. Culturally speaking Britain is very alike the Netherland. English comes from there... Basically a north sea country like Belgium, Netherlands, Northern Germany and Denmark... All geographically located in same latitudes, around the same NORTH sea, having closely related speaches, similar foods and architectures...
Southern Germany, Austria are way, way more influenced by latin/southern culture than the UK...
Below are the things I have learned from various sources.
1. There used to be many ethnic Greeks in the Middle East, Mediterranean, and Balkan countries and the countries facing the Black Sea, viz. in Italy, Egypt, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Albania, Bulgaria, Syria, Palestine, etc. There still remain some of them in some of these countries although almost none in Egypt at the moment.
2. There used to be and still are Greek Orthodox churches in many cities in these areas but many are closed now. Athens is to Orthodox churches like Rome is to the Roman Catholic Church.
3. The Greek alphabets were the model of Cyrillic alphabets.
4. Greek cuisines have strong affinities with dishes of the neighboring countries and are very similar to Turkish ones but are called in each country by the name of its language.
5. Greek folk music sounds similar to Arabic or Turkish music. As with cuisine, folk music in this part of the world may sound somewhat similar from country to country to a layman.
6. Greece doesn’t share the development process of the architecture styles, from Romanesque, Gothic to Art Nouveau/Jugend style that are shared by many European countries, from Portugal to Baltic countries and Poland, from Italy to Norway. They had their own Byzantine style first then was put under Ottoman Turks reign.
7. Greece has fairly strong economical tie with Russia, who extended a helping hand during their economic crisis.
8. Greece attracts an enormous number of tourists from all over the world, especially from Europe, US and Russia.
The political system is democratic or European but I don’t know about the other social systems like taxing, education, local government systems, commercial practices, etc. Most probably they are more European than Russian, I guess.
everything of these mentined ( education, local government systems, commercial practicesis) is under the guidance of the EU
the Greek cuisine is Mediterannean with influences mainly by Italy and Turkey.
Greek folk music is Greek. Is a mix of ancient greek , Byzantine , western european even Catholic influences on the orthodox rite.
Every part of the country has its own folk music. the roots of Aegean islands music is linked with Byzantine empire. The roots of Ionian islands music is based a lot on the western European style (never under ottoman control)
You can find everything in Greece. Don't put it in a box.
