In behaviour? Are you O.K.? Iberians are Latins! The culture is very Latin and is not like that of Greeks or Turks!! Spain and Portugal are predominantly Roman Catholic countries as well, so they would share much more similarities culturally in that aspect with the French(including Corsicans) and the Italians(including Sardinians and Sicilians) and not with Greeks/Turks. Genetically they are Southwest European Mediterraneans and also in their northern population are lighter-complected people due to ancient Celtic and Germanic invasions, where not only the dark brown and black hair shades are common, but also chestnut, light brown, dark auburn seem frequent.
In phenotype, southern Italians are closer to Greeks than to Spaniards/French, due to all of their Greek ancestry. Also, some parts of Sicily have some Phoenician too.
Also, Greek culture is closer to the rest of the Balkans than to Turkey.
Southern Italians and the two sicilies are very close to the Aragonese/Spanish because they were part of Aragon/Spain during centuries and until recently, being Naples a property of the Bourbons until indepedency, etc. And to the fact that they withstand sun better or not, I guess the fact is important for drugstores that sell Nivea and Pizbuin.

In some ways but in others you can see the Greek influences. Then again Spain also owned, temporarily, part of Greece too.
Greek influence is too remote, from the times of Magna Gracia. The main influence is, of course, Romans. Aragon occupied Magna Grecia during a short time, but it was just a drop in their long history.

Spanish colonization didn't leave much impact. Anything in common would date back to Roman times. Still though, they do say Sicily is "Italy with a touch of Greece", and I think the overall character of the entire south does have a Greek influence. Greeks say so at least.
Spanish are more similar to what I thought Italians would be like before getting to know many Italians. I've been working with all of them recently, and you can often pick out the Italians because they pay much more attention to their appearance and image. I've always thought that the Spanish had a reputation for lateness, but maybe that's only in the south? From my experience, the Italians have been much worse with this.

That is very true. Spain id the most organised of the latin countries in Europe: its cities are clean, with well maintained public spaces, clean and modern transportation system, etc. Compared its neighbours Spanish drivers are usually much more respectful of driving laws and security than french or portuguese drivers (the worst being italians).
For some reasons many people expect Spain to be a somehow chaotic country in the southern Italian style. That is not at all the case, even in Andalucia or Canarias.

The "unmentionable" also built hospitals, roads, imposed ORDER, almost no taxes and PEACE for the first time in Spanish history. Spain lived in a civil war from the invasion of Napoleon to 1939.
