About the younger generation, the problem remains.. the difficulty to be independent.. or perhaps it has become even more serious, the difficulties scare the sparrows, and they are afraid to leave the nest.
but the life's difficulties make possible to grow, as personality..self ability..self-estime...so on

My impression was that the low birth rate is more a lack of willingness to make sacrifices and to risk than a question of affordability.

Life itself is movement and risk, a life without risk is not life.

Florence is doing fine today.
Doesn't look like it needs anyone to save it.

Hmmm, I think I'll have another espresso and check out another market and cathedral.

Why are you judging another country and culture by your view of what they should be/do_
Perhaps you should worry about the US instead of other countries. It has enough problems for you to solve.

Italy is an old country as old is politics, there are no proposals there are no ideals, perhaps there are not people with right initiatives
