I was laughing so hard - spilled the tea all over my monitor.

But how do we know it's true? Any pictures of the copy of that particular newspaper around?

I guess Alec is in favor of ethnic cleansing/ forced migration, Estonia only for Estonians, Ukraine only for Ukrainians, and Russia only for Russians/mongol horde

I think he is saying get rid of Russians like the Baltics did as in Russian control over their territory. Estonia has Russian people but not Russian government control over part of their country. This is an obvious goal, but the way to achieve it won't be easy or the way many of them hope for.

The British Empire was very large in its heyday, Burma and Nepal were under British influence or heavily influenced in the 1800s. Russia did play games back then, especially in the central asian regions. Afghanistan back the nwas a battleground at times.

Any organization like the UN can be worked for one's benefit by creating alliances among its members through common interests of colonialism, coercion through threats on trade and UN resolutions of mutual interest, etc. A large number of the lawless governments supporting ISIS, Al Qaeda, and other terror groups belong to the UN. Almost every country in the EU sent fighters to Syria through official channels of providing passports or visas. Some of the clerics recruiting the fighters were working for the security agencies in those countries. Even Japan, which has no measurable Muslim demographic in its population, provided funding for the war.
