Russian Federation has only existed since 1991 I believe.

They are the only country to use military to take territory in the Black Sea since 1945, I believe.

Nobody answered your question. Russian external news often mirrors Russian internal news. In this case however, it doesn't seem to be the case. I'm not sure why, but you can make up your mind on that.

Russian news says they are trying to find other countries in South America to test their vaccine candidates in. So far, no takers.

Putin will do what he reasonably can to avoid the appearance of Russia using a western developed vaccine. This may include forcing Russia to use its own vaccine that doesn't work very well before it goes through international standard safety trials but claiming it works anyway as the virus recedes. They can employ the tactic of claiming resistance is a western conspiracy against Russia's superiority. Or perhaps re-branding the Chinese vaccine if their own doesn't end up working, but i believe it will as this isn't a particularly difficult virus to disable.

We all know why Americans showed up in Ukraine, on that Maidan square.

Same thing as bringing its military to the Black Sea.
