Where's the Pittsburgh of Europe? Meaning, the city most built into the hills and hillsides?

Also, of a similar size?

I would say Lyon, flat in the center just like Pittsburgh, just like Pittsburgh at confluence of two rivers, and heavily expanded into the surrounding hills. About same metropolitan area (2 million).

Sheffield - a city 'built on seven hills'. Like Pittsburgh, it has a history of steel making, and they share the same nickname - the Steel City. Metro population 1.6 million.

Wow! That's an interesting city. Tons of BRICK everywhere as well, which is similar to Pittsburgh.

I just spent 15 minutes google mapping it, pretty neat looking place.
