I don't get it. Why doesn't the UK permanently lock up this guy in prison? No TV, phone or internet. Just live his life in isolation and die of old age - exactly what they hate the most.

He hasn't really done anything directly. You can be sure, though, that they watch him 24/7.

I think that Islam has some real problems and I am skeptical, at best, about how many Muslims can assimilate into western society, but Anjem Choudary is to Islam as Fred Phelps (Westboro Baptist Church) is to Christianity.
In other words, his views definitely reflect the worst element of the Muslim community and we should listen to him to understand that, however, he ain't the pope of Islam.
