You can also look in to the Netherlands. There's the DAFT (Dutch American Friendship Treaty) which allows you to live here in NL if you have 4500 euros on your bank account and you have to be self employed and have a professional connection with the US. So basically you could set up a webshop and sell american goods in NL or vise versa and you're set. There's a lot of restrictions to it, but also a lot of opportunities and you don't have to have a lot of money (4500 is not much i think for such a situation)
