Catalonia has always been richer, trading with the mediterranian instead of inland Spain. Catalonia didn't care about Spain and rarely felt a part of it. Madrid is very weak in terms of its influence on Catalona, Valencia, or Andalusia. It is like an island in the middle of nowhere.
If you look at the population of spain, it is very weird. Madrid is huge due to being the capital, but the massive two regions sandwich it have few people.

Bro I'm sorry but you are very wrong this time...
Catalonia wasn't nothing rather than a mere REGION. Who was a big deal and trading with the Mediterranean was the Crown of Aragon who always been a part of Spain but split up due to the arab invasion and then they reunited again.
Catalonia has
never been independent but a part of another country, kingdom... it was the ARAGON crown.
And if you say that Catalonia wasn't trading with Spain you just say some bs maybe told you by a pro-independence liar because even nowadays for Catalonia the main market are the other regions of Spain and it's NOT richer but it's the most populated region. Madrid has the same GDP having almost 1 million less of inhabitants. Madrid, Navarre and Basques have higher income, wages, etc.
Madrid is very weak in terms of influence in Andalucia or Valencia hahaha wtf are you saying bro
I live in Valencia and Madrid can't have more influence, and if the central region between Madrid and Catalonia doesn't have much population is because it's full of mountains, lots of wrinkled land... besides between Madrid and Catalonia you can find Zaragoza which is an historical and very big city. The 5th in Spain.
The majority Catalans feel part of Spain, and it has been always like this. Idk who told you that false bs bro.
I just proven in the last page how the actual independence thing is a minority thing and a crappy smoke curtain...
It's been a long since I didn't see you posting!
