Yeah, tell that the hundreds of thousands of Agent Orange victims who suffer to this date from the things "the US has done for Vietnam". Not to mention all the other victims, civilians and military and the traumatizing effect this war had on a whole generation of young American males.
You behave just like what you accuse the Germans of.

Shall we start posting every shooting in the US? This board will run out of server storage space pretty quickly.

Yes, every dead person and every shooting or violent attack in Germany is too much and we should fight against. But that is not a specific German problem.

Another thing I learned when we visited Munich. It is home to the largest company in the world, Munich Re. It's a reinsurance company, which is an insurance company that insures other insurance companies. It paid over 90% of the insurance claims for Hurricane Sandy and Hurricane Katrina.

I don't know if this is something wrong with Germany or not I just never heard of this company, the largest in the world, which surprised me.

Interesting, they must keep it off of Wikipedia.

Munic Re is not the biggest company in the world (even though it has substantial size).

Not for total balance sheet, not for employee, not for turnover, not for company value, neither profit they are the biggest.

And there are plenty of information about the company on wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Munich_Re

Well they did, the contracts after WWII were obvious and Germany did a lot to compensate victims. Unlike Japan or any other country involved in similar situations.

But it is ridiculous that now 70 years later some countries who didn't get along well with their money and are highly in debt ask for money from Germany, just because they noticed the country is rich and there may be some "open" guilt from the past.

Of course asking for free money is easier than working - same for private persons and governments.

Just visit Vienna and then Bratislava and compare customer service, the locals and infrastructure. And Slovakia is one of the supposedly best developped post commie countries. Nuff said.
