Yes, London has many world-class restaurants, obviously. It's a global city and the wealthy obviously demand quality. But that isn't typical day-to-day eating in the UK. And I would still say that London's culinary offerings are generally quite inferior to those of Paris or NYC.
Really? I posted a link that proved otherwise, your turn now, care to post proof that the food in London is 'inferior'?

Again care to post anything to prove this? Thought not! See post 228 if you want to know abut cheeses (once again BNW posts with links to back up everything he says. Unlike you or Nola or course)!

The number of cheeses from the UK doesn't change the fact that English food is bad. Wow, you can get Indian food in England! I've had better Indian food in Chicago than in London and for probably 25% of the cost.

The english cheeses I've had are middling at best. Again, France and Spain have much better cheese.

Again no proof! In other words you are just quoting ridiculous stereotypes, just like I said all along! Try going back and reading some of BNW's links, you might learn something!

Someone should start a poll that asks if the UK has good food compared to continental Europe. I've been the UK many times and was completely astounded at how bad every day food is there.

I've had better Indian food in Chicago at 25% of the price as in England.

You have NEVER been any where near the UK! That much is obvious! I doubt you know what 'every day food' even is in the UK! lol I don't want a 'poll' I want proof of your ridiculous claim!! BNW has posted numerous links showing that what you say is rubbish, you are now just making yourself look foolish!
