I did turbo kickboxing on Monday, went to boot camp last night and about died (LOL) and I did cardio kickboxing with weights tonight. Tomorrow I am not going to the gym but I plan on doing some ab work. Friday I am traveling so I don't plan on doing anything!
Looks like "Fran" is the workout for today here in St. Louis, Lao. So, I'll be able to report back with my current time tomorrow! Did you end up doing Fran yesterday?
I worked out regularly and strenuously for decades, staying in very good condition. Once I got to 50, I decided to stop killing myself, as I'd developed some painful conditions (mainly plantar fascitis) from over-doing it. A discussion with a medical physiologist convinced me that too much running/jogging at that age was the culprit. When I stopped, the pain went away like magic.
But I got lazy.
Now that I'm approaching 60, I've started exercising again, but taking it relatively easy. I take a vigorous 1.5 mile walk early each morning with a pair of 5lb dumbells, swinging them with each step. When I get home I do 20 pushups and 40 situps. That's enough to break a sweat and tire me out. I'll never again look like I did 20 years ago anyway. That's OK. I feel great.

My time was 7:52 as Rx'd. Not good.
Kipping pull-ups are my achilles heel - once I start to fatigue my technique gets bad and I can only manage to string about 3 together before I have to "reset" and begin again.
I will get it under 5 mins before the summer is over, and that's not a great time, either.
Yesterday made 6 straight days of working out for me, so today is a rest day! Woot!
