My preferred gym sock. The ones with the full thickness top section, not the super thin wicking one, I can't stand those.

Everything I see now is a wicking top for these. Any idea of thet still make the plain ones with Hanes in red and a red stripe under the toes, preferably in white.

A water drop on the package is the wicking logo.

Well, I saw them at Kohl's a couple months ago when I went to buy underwear. Just plain old cotton short socks? Yep.

I think all of their socks are now mostly artificial fiber, not cotton.

I use these Champion no-show socks (even through they're long enough to come up well over my shoe, size 10.5 here). They are the most comfortable I can find and the only ones that seem true to size. They don't last terribly long (I go through a package every year) but they aren't expensive and Amazon has ample supply.

The last time I bought the plain white Hanes socks at Kohl's they were 100% cotton, or very nearly 100%.
