Hi,

My favorite compound exercise is pull-ups as it improves the overall strength of the body.

Thanks

You left out a few:

Digging trenches
Emptying a moving truck of boxes
Chopping firewood
Shoveling snow

are a few that immediately come to mind.

Leg press on the 45 degree leg press machine. Some claim that the leg press isn't a compound movement, but it is since it involves more than one joint and it works not only the thighs but the glutes.

Purely based on how they feel: Deadlifts > Pullups > Bench press > Squats

(though i do all of them)

I like snatch. I use a weight not a barbell. That's the most interesting exercise. Of course I do all the above exercises.

I have an adjustable rowing machine. At it's highest setting Its not too easy to move and gives great resistance. Rather than using it like a rowing machine I'll use it at the end of my workout to get a really good blood pump by just doing 20-30 rows slow and steady. Reverse the grip and it slams biceps. By far my favorite workout as it works literally every muscle but chest and tris, so I just nail them on bench.
