I was just given one and wondered what your experiences were. I love the treadmill but I have this now and would like to put it to use.

I had one and used it the first week or two. I found that I didnt really feel the 'burn' or that it was working for me. I liked that it was quiet and I could watch TV while I used it but didnt think it did very much for me- in terms or weight loss or toning. I bought the Slim in 6 dvd's and found that those worked way better for me. Everyone is different! Hopefully you will like the Gazelle more than I did. Good Luck!

I tried one years ago but found it rather useless for a decent workout.

I sweat, but I don't feel the burn. Seems like something isn't quite right with that.

How long do you do it? Do you go fast at all?

Its the same type of workout you would get with walking. You get more burn with a machine that has resistance (better at building muscle than just getting your circulation up)

The s.o. used this and a LF diet in the 90s to get rid of baby fat. He put on weight though as soon as he stopped and started eating "normally" I met him post loss and he was rather high fat for being such a low weight. I think it is one of the reasons he piled on the pounds so easily.

Try going fast for 60 minutes with full leg extensions. You will burn. But I also suggest to do some lifting or resistance so you dont get doughy thin.
Good Luck!

I've done it for 30 minutes at a pretty good speed, legs extended as far as I was comfortable with. I started leaning back a little and I really felt a difference. I think I like the treadmill better though.

Thanks, all!

We have one. It beats walking in the Texas heat, and is better than doing nothing. Most of the time it is a laundry catcher though, I'll admit. We got it for free on Craigslist. It's good in front of the TV. Better for me than the treadmill for whatever reason.

I would LOVE to get my own real gym quality treadmill someday. I think it may be the first purchase if I ever get a house.
